About the Role: Protocol is collaborating with a Further Education institution to recruit an Electrical Training Instructor for a long-term temporary position.

Working Hours: Full-time commitment of 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a long-term temporary contract.
  • Deliver training, assessment, and instruction for a designated group of learners while participating in the quality assurance of educational programs.
  • Support and assess students in workplace training programs to ensure high-quality outcomes, which may include some in-house instruction.
  • Coordinate with learners and workplace supervisors to arrange convenient visit schedules, whether at the educational institution or on-site at employers' locations.
  • Administer assessments in the educational setting or at employer sites as necessary.
  • Utilize technology to enhance student learning in a flexible environment and promote efficient operational practices.
  • Guide and assist learners in achieving their qualifications or apprenticeships, adhering to the standards set by awarding bodies and sector skills assessment protocols, within established timelines.

Qualifications Required:

  • Possess a vocational qualification at a minimum of level 3 in electrical installation.
  • Hold a current DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Have a teaching or training qualification at level 5.
