The Process Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely launch of new products, managing the entire launch process from NPD handover to post-launch review. This role includes overseeing the Recipe Professor Project workflow, liaising with key stakeholders, and driving process innovation. Reports to: Site Technical Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and managing the process team (6), leading trials, and attending feasibility meetings.
* Ensuring all necessary documentation, including technical specifications and trial records, are accurately maintained.
* Driving process innovation, adding new capabilities, and refining existing ones.
* Managing customer pre-production visits, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Maintaining effective links between Process, Development, Technical, Operations, and Continuous Improvement teams.
* Leading and developing Senior Process Technologists, Process Technologists, and Packaging Technologists.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Process experience in FMCG food manufacturing operations and a proven track record of managing a team and technical/process activities (essential)
* Understanding of cook/cool validation processes.
* Degree/HND or equivalent in a science subject (desired)
* Ability to interact with high-profile customers and experience with retail stage and gate processes.
