Are you an experienced Compliance professional looking for a new challenge? Our client, an established organisation in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join their team. The Role
As a Compliance Officer , you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our client's Quality Management System (QMS). Your primary objective will be to ensure that products and services provided by the organisation consistently meet internal and external legal requirements and standards set by regulatory bodies. Join our client's team and become an integral part of their commitment to delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage our client's Quality Management System (QMS) database and logs, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate product quality records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to address and maintain the quality and standard of products supplied.
Generate and review standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Handle suppliers and customer complaints, following correct procedures to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate and schedule document control reviews, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities for improvement within the Quality Assurance function.
Conduct annual internal audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Prepare for and manage external audits from recognised bodies such as BSI and Customers.
Host audits for key suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance.
Manage supplier and customer questionnaires, maintaining up-to-date information.
Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of changes and implementing necessary updates.
Experience Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Strong knowledge and understanding of Quality Management/Compliance Systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain comprehensive records.
Experience collaborating with suppliers and resolving product quality issues.
Proficiency in generating and reviewing standard operating procedures.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
