Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children, particularly those with behavioural needs, in an educational setting.
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to implement effective strategies to support positive behaviour.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with the child, parents, and colleagues.
Be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Show a proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the child's evolving needs.
Hold relevant qualifications or training in education or behaviour support (desirable but not essential).Responsibilities
Provide 1-1 support to the Year 2 child, focusing on behaviour management and engagement with learning activities.
Implement and monitor personalised behaviour plans, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
Assist the child in developing social skills and positive interactions with peers.
Support the child in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Communicate regularly with the child's parents and the school's support team to ensure consistent and effective support.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages the child's emotional and academic growth.Contact Information
