Design Manager

My client is a well known Main Contractor who are currently looking for a Design Manager to join their division. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that goes above and beyond to provide Residential and Commercial schemes in London.
This will be primarily a site based role with occasional days in the office. The site is in North West London and consists of 600 units.
RolenAs Design Manager you will:nOversee all technical matters including design and approvalsnBe responsible for the control of the design process from planning application through to project completionnLead design team meetings, as well as ensuring that queries are resolved in a timely mannernProvide technical advice on the feasibility of projects
CandidatenDesign Managers applying to this role must have:nPrior experience as a design lead on a mixed use / student accommodation schemenDelivery and action focused, can identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervisionnEffective time management and progress projects against plannGood knowledge of modern methods of constructionnExperience of closing out challenging projectsnKnowledge of sectional agreements related to legal completion of residential properties
