The RolenAs a

Disaster Recovery Specialist , you will primary support the IT DR Manager, the Senior DR Specialists & Business Continuity Analyst by efficiently managing the assigned administrative tasks as part of the delivery processes involved in Continuity Planning documentation & review, Continuity Testing planning, preparation & delivery, Vendor Continuity Assurance, and IT DR Service On-boarding.

You will be an important member of the IT Continuity team, supporting the established but growing practices, processes, procedures and technologies used to assure disaster recovery capabilities across the expanding EMEA IT estate. You will be focusing on minimising any potential disruption of Team Technology’s services to the business by maintaining continuity planning & testing facilities during the calendar year.

Key responsibilities:nCreate, develop, & maintain Disaster Recovery plans to cover in-scope business and IT systems.nMaintain the Corporate DR Planning tools such as DRAIP, JIRA and shared docs such as the Team Testing schedule.nCreate, arrange, manage & carry out physical testing of Disaster Recovery Plans by:nCreating and maintaining specific/individual DR test runbooks.nNegotiating & agreeing the specific date/time to run the tests with their App Stakeholders.nCreating & progressing formal IT Change Control approvals.nArranging/booking the appropriate test resources.nEnsuring pre-Test communications are sent out to the business & IT users.nManaging/coordinating the resources (human and technical) during the delivery of each DR Test,nGathering & collating DR test results & evidence from their participants.nCreating & storing DR Test Reports to evidence the completion of DR tests.nCarrying out DR test re-runs if required.nEnsuring DR Tests are run in a safe & secure manner ie. Productions systems are unaffected.nNOTE: Testing is carried out mostly on Sundays, but also Saturdays and weekday evenings.nTake direction from & support the Senior Disaster Recovery Specialists with department deliverables as workloads require.nAssist business & IT projects with DR process information & advice.nEscalate identified gaps within the DR environment to the Senior DR Recovery Specialist.nBe aware of BC/DR industry good practice guidelines that may impact BC/DR deliveries.nComply with company's Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements.nCarry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and company's shared values.nOwn ad hoc tasks as requested by management.

Your ProfilenKey skills/knowledge/experience:nCertified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).nIT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint is essential.nDemonstrable evidence of working towards set deadlines.nAbility to use initiative when dealing with challenges.nExcellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively.nStrong organisation skills.nPro-active approach.nAbility to work well under pressure.nFlexible approach to the challenges of a changing environment.nHigh level of professionalism, trust, and integrity.nClose attention to detail and accuracy.

Good to have:nMember of the BCI/DRII or equivalent practical knowledge/experience preferred.
