About the Role
Role: Community Care Worker
Location: Bude
Pay: from £13.70 to £19.89 depending on shift and role
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Community Care Workers to join our team. This role is more than a job; it's an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of adults, offering the support they need to thrive in their own homes. Whether it's complex clinical care or helping someone maintain their independence, your contribution will be invaluable.
As part of this role, you'll be supporting aduls through short shifts taking place on Sundays and Mondays from 09:00 to 14:30.
What You'll Do
As a Community Care Worker, you'll be delivering care that is truly person-centred, including:
- Personal Care and Support: Assisting adults with daily tasks to ensure comfort and dignity
- Companionship: Being a friendly face and a comforting presence
- Live-in Care: Providing 24/7 support for those who need it most
- Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives with as much autonomy as possible
- Medication Support: Ensuring safe and timely administration of medication
- Specialist Clinical Care: Handling complex clinical needs with expertise and confidence
- Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Offering compassionate care during life's most challenging moments

What We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who have:
- A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
- The ability to assist clients with limited mobility comfortably
- A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
- The right to work in the UK
- Experience with complex care (desired, but not essential as full training will be provided)
