Male support worker required for gender specific care to complete our team, we currently have vacancies for full time SUPPORT WORKERS.

**About us**

Kilkhampton Lodge is situated in Kilkhampton a small, picturesque village in North Cornwall close to the Devon border approx. 5 miles from Bude, 17 miles from Holsworthy, 19 miles (30 mins) from Bideford.

**Personal skills and attributes**

We are looking for very special people to work with all our service users in our warm homely environment for 9 adults with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health conditions with complex needs who have their own flats and individualised care packages.

Applicants require a full driving licence.

If you enjoy helping others, walking, cooking, sewing, shopping, cycling, arts and crafts, going to the pub/cinema, working at a farm, football/rugby, dancing, gardening, rock music/gigs, fun parks, swimming, etc. then this could be the job for you. Training and support given including from mental health first aiders.

We are not offering visa or sponsorship or relocation packages.

We prefer 1 years experience in this role.

**What we offer our employees**

We supply vehicles, and spending money for residents activities and all meals and drinks when on duty.

Excellent pay rates (£11.00 per hr rising to £13 for weekend hrs). Double pay bank holidays and an annual leave increment for the first 5 years.

This is a full-time post. You will have a 4-week rolling rota with every other weekend off, which means that you will know your hours well in advance, enabling you to have a healthy work/life balance. Optional overtime available.

Full training provided including the opportunity for professional qualifications.
