Void Works Planner
Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week - 8.30am-4.50pm
Hourly rate: £13.70ph PAYE plus holiday pay
A local authority in Nottinghamshire is looking for a dedicated Void Works Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and scheduling the workload of trade colleagues and contractors, providing robust administrative support, and managing financial invoicing duties. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in coordination and diary management within a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day of the role:
Oversee and schedule the workload of trade colleagues and contractors by allocating and organising work.
Provide administrative support including responding to correspondence and calls, inputting and accessing computerised information, and maintaining manual records.
Handle financial invoicing duties, including raising purchase orders, work orders, managing invoices, and receipting invoices.
Communicate effectively with contractors, operatives, and suppliers.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in coordinating and managing appointments and diaries of large teams within a fast-paced environment.
Competency in using computer software programmes, ideally NEC & all MS packages, to ensure data validity and input relevant data.
Experience dealing with purchase orders/invoices, instructing payment, and charging for completed works.
Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to achieve common goals.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage a diverse workload under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.Additional Information:
For the initial training period (1 month), the candidate will be required at the Office 5 days per week for shadowing.
Consideration for hybrid working in the future, with office requirements being office-based once or twice a week depending on the office rota.
No driving license or DBS required
