Our Client has a requirement for a Lead Decommissioning Structural Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis Outside IR35 in Aberdeen.
Role Purpose:
Provide technical expertise for the structural aspects of facilities decommissioning in the energy sector.
Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new and temporary infrastructure and modifications to facilitate decommissioning of facilities in the energy sector.
Provide technical input to estimates for project work scopes.
Provide decommissioning expertise in the support of tenders
Project management of structural scope(s).
Provide Structural expertise in decommissioning scope execution and tender activities.
Develop project-specific decommissioning processes and procedures.
Attend and input to progress and planning meetings.
Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
Produce structural calculations and analysis.
Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
Provide checking and approval of discipline documents, complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary. 
Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues (close working relationship with construction team to ensure fit-for-purpose, construction-led structural solutions are developed and implemented.
Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs.
Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standards ensure they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities.
Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards
Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.

Technical notes summarizing structural findings
Technical queries seeking input from external parties
Input to lifting methodologies/plan
Input to transportation and installation key deliverables
