NDT Technician (Days – Monday – Friday) Derby
We have a new opportunity for an NDT Technician to be based on a Permanent basis at our clients site in Derby.
The role will be Days based Monday to Friday and will require you to travel to other client locations. As NDT Technician you will be setting and calibrating NDT equipment. Carrying out Non-destructive tests on welds, structures and materials using non-destructive techniques in accordance with relevant standards and procedures. You will interpret and evaluate test results in line with standards and produce clear and concise reports.
What they are looking for;
• Full driving license
• Previous NDT experience, ideally in the rail sector but other industries will be considered.
• PCN (Level II) Qualifications in the following - MPI, DPI.
• VT is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
