What will your day look like?

Dealing with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process on behalf of our clients, mortgage lenders, who have repossessed residential properties due to mortgage arrears or another breach.nDealing with preparation of memos of sales and auction packsnReviewing residential titles on instruction from Client and providing Reports on title.nAs a residential conveyancing paralagal, you will be liaising with clients and solicitors in an efficient and professional manner.nPreparing, reviewing and issuing sales contracts and supporting documents.nAnswering client queries, providing status advice and keeping all parties informed on progress of sale.nLiaise with asset managers to provide a smooth transaction.nDealing with exchange of Contracts in a timely manner.nDealing with post sales matters including distribution of surplus funds as and where applicable.

Our Candidate Requirements for Residential Conveyancing Paralegals

EssentialnMinimum of 5 GCSE’s including a minimum C grade in English and MathsnExperience of the Scottish conveyancing processnWorks well in both a team and on their ownnComputer literate in all Microsoft Office programsnExcellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills,nSound knowledge of law and legal System,nStrong organisational skills,nFamiliar with electronic document management and filing systems,nHigh level of discretion with confidential matters,nStrong attention to detail and research skills.

DesirablenLaw degree or equivalentnExperience of working for financial services’ businesses in a legal environment.nExperience of working in the legal industry and/or in-house with a top financial services organisation.
