Head of Sales and Operations Europe, Manager (Lids International)

OverviewnLids is looking for a Head of Sales and Operations to oversee and develop our store teams across Europe for current brands (Lids, NBA, PSG) as well as potential future brands and projects. This person will be responsible for driving the sales team to beat top and bottom-line targets, ensure operational excellence, and drive our international expansion strategy across Europe.

Job Duties/ Responsibilitiesnstore sales teams and coach District Sales Managers to meet or exceed Sales, KPIs and Profitability targets. Monitor and achieve physical store performance goals. Drive adjustments to strategies and tactics as necessary to achieve goals.nand executes physical store strategy in alignment with overall strategy and priorities. Ensure strategy translates to regional strategies and vice-versanand implement operational standards, policies, and procedures, execute transactions efficiently and effectively, and assist in the operation of retail stores across Europe as well as training the team and following up on operational KPIsnwith Head Office UK teamnof EU, on P&L targets, direction & visionnteam to maximize stores’ commercialityn& Facility manager, to ensure stores have a strong look & feel and customer experiencenand Facility department on health and safety across the storesnof Marketing to align and capitalize on key and local momentsnof VM to ensure top notch presentation in storenDepartment on salary increases and workforce planning.nand maintain a realistic Succession Plan. Anticipate the needs of the region and Company, while strategizing to prepare for all scenariosnMonitors and enhances employee engagement across all stores and develops strategies and tactics to address opportunities and issues.nand drive international expansion strategy which would include recommending countries, cities and specific locations for expansion team to investigate in real estate opportunitiesnP&L for a portfolio of Lids brands, including Paris Saint-Germain, Lids, Lids Locker Room, Lids Hat Drop, and additional special projects.nOther P&L responsibilities include analyzing and managing travel/meeting/maintenance and repairs/supplies expenses. In addition, they will maintain and foster a culture of excellence, professional execution, exemplary ethics, inspire and exhibit a sense of urgency and productive collaboration.nLead workforce & labor management for the brand implementing a road map for the brand to continuously improve effectiveness in labor planning, scheduling and simplify the processes at the store level through use of technology or process enhancement.

RequirementsnBachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencen5+ years of retail and management experiencenBilingual, with preference for English and French fluencynExperience conducting business in UK, France or other European Union countries.nExperience building operational teams and processesnStrong People leadership skillsnCritical thinking/Analytical skillsnBias for action and sense of urgencynAbility to navigate and lead through ambiguity and rapid changenGrowth mindsetnStrong communication and interpersonal skills and belief in teamworknDemonstrated leadership skills with ability to drive results through team
