As a Childcare Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of public and private childcare matters , supported by a dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants. You will enjoy real client contact and the opportunity to build long-term relationships and your own reputation in turn. You will work alongside experienced childcare professionals in a collaborative environment, benefiting from a firm that combines the resources of a national network with the close-knit feel of a regional team. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of public and private childcare law matters from instruction to completion. Represent clients in care proceedings, child protection matters, and other related cases. Liaise directly with clients, local authorities, and other professionals, providing empathetic and expert legal support. Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progression. Contribute to business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships. Maintain the firm’s high standards of client care and service delivery. Requirements: You’re a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid experience in childcare law. You have a strong understanding of both public and private law children matters. You’re approachable, empathetic, and committed to delivering exceptional client care. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy mentoring or working alongside junior colleagues. You value flexibility and a culture that genuinely supports balance and wellbeing.
