Our client is a premium fresh foods company with numerous shops and expanding nationally. They are a family-run company that works with traditional artisan craftspeople and farmers to source the finest quality products.
As part of their national expansion, our client is looking for a Shop Manager to look after one of their new shops.
MISSION
The Shop Manager is responsible for customer experience and team enhancement. Our client produces natural and high-quality products, however even more importantly their main focus is the people they serve and work with. They believe in creating a personalised customer experience through building a collaborative team.
They are looking for a Shop Manager with a passion for retail, ensuring efficient daily operations with strong leadership skills. The shop manager will be responsible for the work process and team environment, ensuring the brand values are carried out across the whole team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhance customer experience through various methods.
Implement the business strategy across the team and shop.
Assign tasks to correct team members depending on their abilities.
Manage and oversee business operations such as stock control.
Strive to deliver high standards consistently in the Shop.
Ensure health and safety protocol is followed
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of professional experience managing teams
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and bring the best out of a team.
Previous experience managing teams larger than 10 employees and implementing operating standards.
Worked in a busy environment and continued to improve customer experience.
Is strong-minded and can make independent decisions.
Can effectively communicate with all types of people both from a customer and employee perspective.
Previously worked with Planograms.
