We are seeking an experienced Windows Server & IIS Application Support Engineer to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of expertise in managing and optimizing web server infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our web applications and Windows servers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of IIS servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of web applications.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the performance of web servers and applications.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect web applications and infrastructure, including regular updates and patches.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to IIS servers and applications, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Provide expert-level support for web applications, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Continuously monitor web server performance and security, generating reports and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security teams, to ensure seamless operation of web applications.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an IIS Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in managing and optimizing IIS servers.
  • Proven track record in performance tuning, security management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments, including setup and configuration.
  • Knowledge of web application architecture and best practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
