Ascend Talent is seeking a MET Technician to join an accident repair centre based in Leicester. As an MET Technician you will be responsible for all mechanical, electrical & trim aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.
Responsibilities: As an MET Technician your responsibilities include:
* Dismantling and reassembling vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and specifications.
* Conducting inspections to identify vehicle damage and repair requirements.
* Using your expertise to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively.
* Working closely with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Experience/Skill:
* Previous experience as a MET Technician or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
* Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of vehicle repair techniques.
* Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) would be advantageous.
