About the Job
As an MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are restored to the highest standards. Your expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components across various makes and models will be essential in maintaining our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all necessary mechanical and body work on assigned vehicles. Dismantle vehicles in preparation for panel shop work. Conduct thorough inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work. Order and replace parts as required, ensuring vehicles are re-assembled to pre-accident condition. Ensure all work meets company and industry quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs. Ensure health and safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
About You
You will have significant experience as an MET Technician, with a background in accident repair. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be crucial in delivering high-quality results.
You will:
Plan your workload efficiently to meet agreed timescales. Complete your work in line with manufacturers’ specifications and industry standards. Work effectively both as part of a team and on your own initiative with minimal supervision. Approach your work with flexibility, always striving for the highest standards with customer satisfaction as a priority. Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines at all times, maintaining a clean and tidy work area and wearing appropriate PPE. Knowledge and experience of accident repair for a wide range of vehicles, including electric/hybrid. Ideally hold an ATA / NVQ qualification, and we will support in renewing these.
