We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
- Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
- Order replacement parts.
- Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
- Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed-on timescales.
- Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
- Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible in your approach.
- Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
- Ensure all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.
- Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a chance to work in a bodyshop.
