Sales Account Manager required by industry leading and growing engineering company, based in Cheltenham. The successful Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing high profile accounts and maximising opportunities for growth.
Main Duties: Sales Account Manager
Managing customer enquiries, prioritising quotes and qualifying demand, demonstrating a technical understanding of systems and components.
Leading developing and growing existing customer relationships at senior level.
Following up leads, targeting new business and developing sales strategies.
Preparing and delivering proposals to new prospects and negotiating contracts.
Using sales data to identify opportunities to grow sales.
Visiting Customers both in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Sales Account Manager
A background within a similar senior customer facing role in Account Management or Sales.
Previous experience of working within the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industry.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to deliver presentations at senior level.
The ability to build and develop business relationships.
Strong negotiation skills
The flexibility for UK wide and international travel to meet the needs of the business.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
