Position Details:
Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - CAMHS
Band: 6
Location: South Yorkshire
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Full-time, Days
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £25 per hour
Your Role as a Community Psychiatric Nurse:
Embark on a rewarding journey where you make a real difference in the lives of your patients. As a specialist in community mental health, your responsibilities will include:
Patient Visits: Regularly visiting patients in the community to ensure their needs are met and their care plans are followed.
Medication Administration: Delivering necessary medications at scheduled times to manage patients' conditions effectively.
Patient Interaction: Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, providing support, and monitoring their progress.
Risk Assessments: Conducting assessments to ensure patient safety, identifying any risks, and creating a secure environment for their treatment.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: Active NMC registration as a mental health nurse.
Experience: Proven community experience in a similar role.
Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
