Our client are seeking Ad hoc staff to cover shifts for various homes based in Sheffield.
Support and care for looked after children and young people and children with disabilities
Complete assessments and develop plans
Work to achieve positive outcomes by working with partner agencies including Education, CAMHS, Police etc..
Signpost children to appropriate mental health services where necessary
Provide emotional and practical support
Assist the children to deal with their feelings and emotions
Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and raise any concerns you may have
Keep in contact with families/ carers
Keep and maintain notes on progress or difficulties Requirements
Relevant qualifications or comparable experience and training with certificates to hand
Substantial amount of experience working with vulnerable children 
Willingness to support leisure activities in the community
Must be flexible
