Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Junior AV Technician to join our managed services team, dedicated to providing exceptional white-glove support to our prestigious clients based in the City of London.The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence in customer service. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering an immersive and seamless collaboration experience through cutting-edge audiovisual and meeting room solutions.Our solutions are essential for an immersive user collaboration experience and are very much integrated with Microsoft Teams, Copilot and other aspects of the M365 suite. This role is therefore open to candidates with exposure to traditional 1 st
line IT helpdesk support who are looking for a new challenge that offers something different and a chance to deliver a premium customer service for our FTSE 100 client.
Main roles and responsibilities
Maintain and support AV solutions and Modern Workspace technology present within our clients sitesManage AV infrastructure in all mediums, including physical equipment and associated management platformsSupport all customer requirements for assistance with meeting rooms and event spacesProvide white glove service for customer VIPs and C-suite executivesProvide ad-hoc support and information to all customers at clients officeDeliver a customer first experience as well as being a punctual and friendly face representing Bridgehampton at all timesPerform daily checks on all meeting room and collaboration spaces throughout our clients HQ, ensuring they are fit for purpose and fully functionalTake ownership of pre-booked meeting room support requests, ensuring the customer is satisfied with the available equipment and confident their meeting will run smoothly. These requests can also be ad-hoc in nature and the technician must be ready to deal with any urgent issues in a calm and customer focused mannerCarry out proactive house-keeping to ensure our technology and therefore services are delivered to the highest possible standards at all times. These include, but are not limited to tasks such as updating site documentation, ensuring firmware is current on all critical devices, and any other general maintenance activities.The main responsibility of the technician will be to provide the client with a high-quality collaboration experience and help their staff get the most out of their technology investments every day. As such, you will often be the first person to contact for all AV issues.The role requires standard business hour attendance with occasional early starts or late finishes due to special events requiring support.
Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting skills and customer serviceProven competence in IT support and communicationKnowledge of or a keen interest in AV solutions, including hardware and software, such as Microsoft TeamsAbility to work effectively with customer cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenExperience working in a corporate or hospitality environment is preferredA degree or certification in AV technology or related field is preferred but not mandatory
