Communications Specialist Summary Location: Barcelona (Hybrid) OR Reading, UK (Hybrid) OR potentially Remote. Day Rate: Negotiable Duration: 3 Months (with a potential view to extend further) Availability: ASAP About the Client My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel. Join a global technology leader supporting the aviation ecosystem with mission-critical solutions used by airlines, airports, and governments worldwide. Their Brand & Communications team is responsible for shaping high-impact narratives seen by customers, partners, internal leadership and external stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in elevating how the organisation communicates its strategy, innovation and value. About the Role Job Summary: We are seeking a Communications Specialist with exceptional storytelling and presentation development skills. You will transform complex subject matter into clear, compelling, executive-ready narratives—often with incomplete inputs—and partner with senior stakeholders across Brand, Marketing, Communications, Strategy, and Commercial teams. This role requires someone structured, strategic and highly visually literate. A background in management consulting, corporate communications or strategy is ideal, especially if you are fluent in the Pyramid Principle (Minto). Key Responsibilities: Executive Narrative & Presentation Development • Develop high-impact presentations using the Pyramid Principle to structure messaging. • Turn rough inputs and complex information into polished, board- and C-suite ready decks. • Support senior leaders with strategy presentations, investor-facing narratives, leadership updates and customer-facing materials. • Review and refine key decks in advance of major meetings to ensure clarity, logic and coherence. • Enhance recurring internal and external decks to make them sharper, more consistent and easier to understand. Brand, Clarity & Visual Communication • Ensure all decks reflect the organisation’s tone of voice, brand standards and visual identity. • Translate complex data, frameworks and technical concepts into simple, digestible visuals. • Maintain consistency across templates, layouts and visual storytelling. Upskilling & Best Practices • Coach internal teams on presentation structure, narrative flow and effective use of PowerPoint. • Identify common presentation challenges and propose scalable solutions or tools. • Contribute to continuously improving how the organisation communicates at all levels. What we are looking for Required Skills & Experience: • Significant experience developing executive-level or consulting-style presentations (portfolio or samples required). • Practical, confident user of the Pyramid Principle (Minto Method). • Advanced PowerPoint skills: layouts, templates, visual hierarchy, charting, iconography and purposeful animation. • Strong written communicator with the ability to craft clear, logical, concise narratives. • Able to turn minimal or incomplete input into a well-formed storyline. • Detail-oriented, with a strong sense for clarity, flow and visual design. • Experience in management consulting, strategy, PMO or corporate comms is highly advantageous. • Background in B2B technology or aviation is a plus.
