Sales And Business Development Officer

We're partnering with an innovative organisation specialising in psychometric profiling tools, catering to a diverse range of clients from small businesses to multinational corporations. They are seeking a part-time Business Development Executive (16-20 hours per week) to propel their sales efforts and foster relationships with both new and existing clients.
In this dynamic role, you'll have the chance to sell the invaluable benefits of additional psychometric reports to current clients while also attracting new customers to leverage the full suite of available tools. You'll be joining a tight-knit team of 10, led by an inspiring CEO known for their supportive and collaborative approach.
As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will include:
* Researching and identifying sales opportunities
* Engaging with existing and potential clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
* Converting enquiries into loyal customers
* Delivering compelling presentations via Zoom/Teams, with potential for in-person meetings
* Maintaining regular contact with clients to understand their needs and address any sales-related concerns
* Representing the company at networking events as needed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A solid background in business development/ sales, preferably in a B2B setting
* Strong presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office 365
* A positive and flexible mindset, eager to adapt to evolving challenges
* An inherent interest in selling insightful reports that drive individual and team development
As a Business Development Executive, you will receive:
* Salary - £24k- £28k pro rata (FTE being 35 hours per week)
* Commission - 5% on above target sales
* Pension – statutory Auto Enrolment scheme
* Holidays – starting at 24 days per annum plus 8 public holidays (increasing with service).
* Healthcare cashplan (levels increase with service, with the option in January of each year to increase cover/add partner through salary deductions).
* Hours-16-20 hours to be worked across 4 days Monday to Thursday (4-5 hours per day). Hybrid working – at least 40% of hours office based.
