Due to continuing business growth at Pavers and internal progression, we are looking for an organised and experienced Office Administrator to join our busy Administration Team at our Head Office in York. This is an exciting full
- time opportunity working39.5 hours per week and we offer flexible start and end times to the working day.

This varied and active role will involve providing administrative support to all the departments at our busy Head Office, Warehouse and specifically our expanding network of stores nationwide. You’ll need to be an excellent multi-tasker with the abilityto prioritise and communicate well at all levels with a good eye for procuring goods and travel requirements at the best possible price. No two days are the same, you will often need to think on your feet

**Key responsibilities as our Office Administrator**:

- Organising travel and accommodation for Pavers & Jones colleagues and producing clear and concise travel itineraries in a timely manner.
- Assisting the various business teams with sourcing and booking external meeting rooms.
- Managing the switchboard and reception area for Head Office
- Making purchases on behalf of other departments within the company.
- Updating the company business vehicle insurance and facilitating DVLA license checks periodically.
- Drafting, formatting and printing relevant documents.
- Occasionally Interacting with directors and following through with their requests
- Processing invoices and using the purchase order processing system efficiently
- Managing stock of office supplies and consumables, placing orders when required.
- Occasional manual tasks in the warehouse, including packing and distribution of items to stores.
- General administration duties to support the team.

**Requirements to be our new Office Administrator**:

- Previous experience in a high paced and changeable administration environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong prioritization and organisational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
- Highly numerate and cost aware
- Familiarity with office procedures Strong Attention to detail
- A desire to show initiative
- Working knowledge of Sage accounting systems would be beneficial but not essential
- To be friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude, some flexibility is required to ensure cover for Annual Conference dates and holiday/ sickness.

Pay: up to £21,567 per annum DoE
