Are you an experienced behaviour mentor seeking a new role?

Are you able to work within the Brent area for mainstream primary schools?
If so, Teach Plus would like to hear from you regarding this Behaviour mentor role.
Teach Plus currently work with fantastic mainstream primary and SEN schools who are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor role to join their team. For this role you must be able to support on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN who needs additional support with their social, emotional and physical needs. You will play a crucial role in educating and supporting children with challenging behaviours within the school provision. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these students.
As a Behaviour Mentor you will be required to:
Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in challenging behaviour management.
Experience in tutoring small classes of students with ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD or ADHD.
Advantageous: Positive behaviour management, restraint training, or a background in support roles.
Advantageous: Experience tutoring within SEN schools or provisions.
Ability to connect with students on a personal level, demonstrating a firm yet caring nature.
Familiarity with special education practices and strategies.
The ideal candidate for a Behaviour Mentor role will have:
Have experience supporting pupils with SEN - ASD and ADHD
CACHE level 3 Teaching and Learning support in schools
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Right to work within the UK
Overseas criminal clearance
