You will be responsible for processing and managing daily sales and customer service tasks in addition to building strong relationships with customers and vendors through web, email, and telephone sales. The role will be primarily office based and will be handling inbound and outbound sales activity. Please also note that some overseas travel may be required.


This role is not commissioned but instead offers abase salary of between £33,000 and £38,000 based on experience, along with a good benefits package.


You will:


  • sales and build new and productive relationships with customers / potential customers through outbound sales activity.
  • new clients by industry, region and job titles via LinkedIn and other web-based platforms to build targeted lists for proactive reach out.
  • in cold calling and prospecting.
  • seek out applicable tender opportunities.
  • company bids and tenders.
  • exhibitions, events and networking opportunities.
  • with clients to ensure we exceed their expectations and seek opportunities to expand our portfolio and enhance our reputation within the industry.
  • compelling sales pitches and presentations to new prospects, effectively articulating the value proposition.
  • the Account Managers in lead and opportunity generation.
  • a robust sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and prospects through the sales process.
  • and execute strategies to grow revenue from new customers.
  • a point of contact for inbound enquiries (web, email, phone).
  • the company’s CRM system to support all sales activity.
  • informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • with the collation of sales and marketing statistics.
  • an accurate and reliable system of audit, maintenance, and accountancy of all company commercial processes in accordance with ISO9001.


What we are looking for:


  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales and client management with inbound and outbound telesales experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • An ability to rapidly grasp and implement sales strategies to meet performance targets.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Active listening skills with a commitment to providing prompt and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries.
  • Self-motivation and strong planning, organization and time management skills.
  • A tireless work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Aviation, Security and Events sectors desirable (training will be provided).
  • A thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Good attention to detail and an ability to critically review own output.
  • Proven experience of upselling.
  • A desire to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • An ability and willingness to travel, sometimes internationally as part of the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a member of a cohesive and effective sales team.
  • An ability to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM software required, experience of Salesforce, desirable.
