Hours:  Part-time time (2.5 days per week) hybrid working, office and home based. 

Purpose: Act as a reliable partner for hiring managers and HR Business Partners to build a network of future talents in order to find the right people for our teams to start a long-term career journey with Daiichi Sankyo.

Responsible for delivery of excellence throughout the Recruiting lifecycle. You will closely partner with our hiring managers, team members, and your HR Business Partners to efficiently deliver and continuously enhance the candidate experience. 

Accountabilities / Measures:

  • Lead the sourcing strategy to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery.
  • Strong focus on direct candidate identification and sourcing of talents in the target market.
  • Consult on the sourcing strategy and align with the HRBPs.
  • Define the external candidate identification activities and its success based on the future needs of the role.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Talent Acquisition – Recruiting Partner, HRBPs and Strategic Recruiting function.
  • Execute according to employer branding framework and collaborate closely with Strategic Recruiting.
  • Develop an external talent pool for different business functions in your target area that allow for a timely driven recruitment of open positions
  • Responsible for a timely and successful recruiting process from the kick-off meeting with the hiring manager and the HRBP up until the selection of the final candidate.
  • Consult on the recruiting strategy and align with hiring managers and HRBPs.
  • Maintain and evolve your knowledge of external trends in talent sourcing and employer branding to drive excellence in your approach and proactively drive towards innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate current and future needs of the role and ensure a selection process that is in line with the strategy of the department while taking an holistic view on company needs.
  • Work closely with the wider Talent Acquisition and Sourcing teams to align on the external candidate identification activities and its success.
  • Provide regular reporting to HR Business Partners and Strategic Recruiting function.
  • For specific functions and if needed take responsibility for selecting external agencies, build a preferred supplier list and conduct regular analysis of the collaboration and taking measures to review and improve as necessary. 
  • Execute according to employer branding framework and collaborate closely with Strategic Recruiting to develop priorities, actions plans and enhancements.
  • Review and continuously improve our Talent Acquisition processes.


Technical/Professional Knowledge:

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing sourcing strategies and the usage of social media within the UK (e.g. Linked-in recruiter and other sourcing methods)
• Extensive experience in active Talent Sourcing and building and maintaining talent pools
• At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment experience within the UK, ideally partly at executive search companies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish strong collaboration internally and externally.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Understanding of data protection regulations and UK employment law relating to recruitment and selection.
• Fluent in English. 

• Experience in the Pharma Industry is an advantage. 
• Experience within the Oncology area would be a perfect match. 
• Understanding of the ABPI code of practice
