Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading business in the Barnsley area, who are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team to support during a period of business change and growth. This role will initially be on a temporary basis for c. 3 months, but there may be scope for permanency for the right candidate 
We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Ledger professional who has proven B2B and B2C debt collection / account reconciliation experience to be able to jump in and hit the ground running
Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
Raising all sales invoices for customers
Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms
Chasing outstanding customer payment via email, letter, and phone
Processing and reconciling card payments
Allocation of payments
Setting up new customers
Sending copy invoices where required
Scanning sales invoices, renaming, and filing
Required experience for Credit Controller:
At least 2 years’ experience of working in a credit control role.
Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
Be competent using Microsoft Office
Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
Good communications skills both verbal and written.
Ability to manage workload and prioritise.
Excellent customer service
Attention to detail
The ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
Excellent verbal communications
