We are looking for an experienced General Manage r to join the team at our Benugo Café located within John Lewis Oxford , Westgate Shopping Centre – immediate start
The cafe is open 7 days a week, daytime hours,serving up freshly made sandwiches, scones, cakes and carbon neutral coffee.
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
About the General Manager role:
- Manage and motivate the team to drive sales and ensure efficiency – team of up to 8/ 10 employees during peak season
- Oversee the operational function of the unit ensuring all standards are upheld at all times
- Build and maintain the client relationship with John Lewis
- Budget management & reporting on sales figures – confident with managing the P&L, completing weekly stocktake, invoicing, ordering, staff rota
- Maintaining a high level of customer experience
- Continuously working towards improving the sales & service
- Maintaining high levels of Food and Health & Safety at all times
- This is a 7-day operation and you will be expected to work five shifts per week including weekends - total of 45 hours per week. The café opening hours are 10-5 p
