Job Description
Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of our Real Estate & Facilities Management category on a global scale? We are seeking a dynamic Global Category Lead to provide strategic direction to a diverse group of regional Category Managers, ensuring alignment with business requirements and driving sustainable implementation. Responsibilities/accountabilities include (but are not limited to);
- Lead the ongoing development, validation, and implementation of the Real Estate and Facilities Management category strategy, closely aligning it with business needs.
- Collaborate with the Global Category Management and Procurement Business Partner organization to integrate business requirements into the strategy and provide expert external supply market knowledge.
- Manage risk with third parties and ensure operational compliance across all Indirect Procurement activities, delivering targeted savings without compromising quality and timelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
- Preference for strong procurement experience, within a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Extensive leadership experience (geographically dispersed and cross-functional with proven results).
- Experience of working on global projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strategy development and implementation experience.
- Data-savvy, with an ability to leverage data to identify opportunities and support decision-making.
Location
This is a hybrid role that can be based within a commutable distance of either our Jealott's Hill site (near Bracknell) or Manchester site.
