OxEd develops educational assessment apps and interventions which have been shown to improve educational outcomes for children.

In England, our flagship programme, the NELI Programme, is used by 11,000 primary schools and we are looking to build out our Outreach and Engagement team responsible for ensuring these schools are getting full value from the NELI Programme.


The School Outreach and Engagement Officer is primarily responsible for contacting schools registered for OxEd & Assessment's products/solutions by phone and email, to encourage engagement with these services. The ultimate goal is to support schools by increasing their usage of OxEd products/services and enhancing relationships between OxEd and schools.


This is a full-time contract role. We are initially offering a 3-month contract but there is potential for this to be extended and/or made permanent. The hours for this role are flexible, although need to be within the typical school day. We are looking for a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week during school term time. Hourly rate £14.45 - £20.00 per hour depending on experience.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between OxEd and schools registered to use the NELI programme, via email and phone calls
  • Maintaining and enhancing good relationships with OxEd’s existing school user base
  • Proactively follow up on school engagement with OxEd’s products and services, to ensure key milestones are met
  • Meet daily and weekly targets in terms of schools contacted, programme engagement, etc.
  • Support with outreach and engagement tasks as needed across the operations and marketing team


Desired Experience

  • Experienced in cold-calling / proactive outreach to customers
  • Experience in calling schools in the UK as part of a customer success or sales focused role a plus
  • Good communication style, verbal and written
  • Able to adapt communication to the needs of the school and their specific circumstances
  • Able to work in a timely manner to daily and weekly targets
  • Must be based in, and have the legal right to work in, the UK for the duration of the contract
