As SEO Content Executive at Position Digital, you will be responsible for creating content that shares our clients’ stories and vision, promotes their brand and makes an impact across search engines.

The ideal fit for this role is someone who is both creative and organised, as you’ll be required to turn your hand to everything from writing blogs and website content to updating Notion and using SEO tools like Semrush and Google Search Console. The role is fast-paced and varied, and you will be involved in the full content creation process - from coming up with fresh content ideas to writing briefs, writing content, proofing, editing and publishing. 

You should also possess excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver content to set deadlines.

Additionally, you’ll need to liaise internally with other departments and with our clients to ensure that content is delivered on time and to the highest standards. This role will either be entirely remote-based or, if you are based in London, a hybrid role with up to 1 - 3 days in the office per week is possible, if you prefer. As we expand and develop as an agency, our processes evolve, so you will need to be flexible and adaptable to change as it arises.

This is an exciting role, perfect for those who are just starting their career in SEO content creation or who have undertaken one or two roles previously. The SEO Content Executive will report directly to the Senior Content Marketing Manager. 

Reporting into the Senior Content Marketing Manager and working alongside other SEO Content Executives to deliver best-in-class SEO content for our clients.
Liaise internally with the Tech, PR and Outreach teams to ensure content is delivered on time.
Work closely with writers and designers to deliver content.
Generate SEO content ideas.
Brief, write, proof and edit SEO content for websites, blogs, landing pages, downloadable guides and whitepapers.
Create SEO content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs and sells, across a variety of websites.
Publish and edit content across various content management systems (CMS).
Liaise with clients directly to get sign off on content produced.
Use AI to assist in all areas of content production, following our in-house guidelines.
Update content statuses in Notion.
Plan and manage client content.

40 hours per week.

1 - 2 roles in SEO or content marketing previously or just starting out your career in SEO.
~ Passion for SEO and content marketing.
~ Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate to different audiences through writing.
~ Creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
~ Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
~ Experience in content marketing, content creation and SEO, including on-page SEO and SEO copywriting.
~ Experience using SEO tools, such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console or others.
~ Ability to work remotely and self-motivate to stay on task.
~ Good project management skills, to deliver things from inception to completion.
~ Native English speaker, UK-based.


Ideally educated to degree level with a BA in a humanities-related field. Experience in using AI, such as ChatGPT, to create content to a high standard.
Any experience in design is a bonus.
