Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and assertive Technical SEO Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for optimizing our websites to meet the technical requirements of search engines. Your primary focus will be on improving the structure, performance, and accessibility of our websites to enhance search engine rankings and create clear roadmaps and evidence-based strategies to deliver results for our clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Improving Functionality: Ensure proper site functionality and implement best SEO practices, working closely with developers to achieve this.
  • Boosting Traffic: Strategically implement keywords across sites to improve intended rankings.
  • Improving User Experience: Ensure pages render properly across devices and are registered in the preferred language of the user to enhance the UX of our sites.
  • Increasing Click-Through Rates: Improve the click-through rate of organic listings by using off-site SEO tactics, including schema markup and metadata optimization.
  • Increasing Conversions: Improve all technical aspects of our websites, from speed to proper interlinking and enhance underlying conversation rates.
  • Research: Perform competitor research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices, using this to implement new SEO tactics.
  • Client Meetings: Attend new business meetings to gain a full understanding of what KPIs the client expects and provide consultancy to these clients.

Requirements
  • Well-versed with HTML, CSS, JS, and site architecture.
  • Ability to make calculated changes in website content.
  • Theoretical understanding of on and off-page SEO strategies, including backlink profiles.
  • Hands-on experience in opening and managing client accounts on Google Analytics and Google Search Console and tools like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and other relevant SEO tools.
  • Functional knowledge of Chrome DevTools, structured data markup, content analysis tools, and AMP.
  • Proficiency in managing files, canonical tags, pagination, and redirects.
  • Conceptual knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and UX principles and practices.
  • Broad understanding of social media platforms and their influence on SEO practices.
  • Agency experience would be given preference.
  • Anticipates common website problems and provides detailed analysis along with performance recommendations.
  • Must possess excellent verbal/written communication and analytics/problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and manage projects with clients.
