Head of Regulatory required for a Global Regulatory Compliance Consultancy business covering over 80 International markets. This is a great opportunity to work for a highly reputable company and play a pivotal role in developing relationships with global blue-chip companies in the food industry.
Experience working within a regulatory affairs role
# A degree (or equivalent) in food science, food law, regulatory affairs or similar
# In-depth knowledge of food law acquired in a commerical, enforcement or policy setting environment
# A deep understanding of food regulations and of Codex Alimentarius, FAO, WHO, and WTO provisions

The Head of Regulatory will be responsible for:
# Developing and implementing the regulatory compliance management strategy in line with company goals and objectives
# Establishing training and implementation plans for the business
# Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing Plans
# Leading the development of the company as thought leaders in the industry from a regulatory perspective
# Monitoring changes in industry best practice and application to ensure appropriate standards are set for technical and regulatory teams
# Representing the company at relevant industry events, including participation at ‘top table’ discussions and industry presentation opportunities on regulatory affairs
# Providing Leadership in discussions with clients on regulatory issues or queries to support them in driving their regulatory agenda

The Head of Regulatory Candidate:
# Experience in a senior level regulatory or compliance role in a food manufacturing, retailer or compliance consultancy business that operates in multiple markets
# In-depth knowledge of global food legislation
# Experience with multiple food categories; additional experience with non-food would be advantageous
# Hold a degree (or equivalent) in food science, food law, regulatory affairs, or similar
