Job Summary:

Join an innovative and dynamic team within a leading aerospace engineering company, where you’ll play a key role in managing and analysing projects that supply critical products / technology for aircrews. As a Data / Programmes Analyst, you’ll be responsible for both technical data analysis and business engagement, ensuring the success of critical projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform detailed project cost tracking , variance analysis, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
  • Utilize systems like Power BI , Power Query , and SQL to provide actionable insights from data.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support user meetings , ensuring reports and data are used effectively.
  • Conduct proof of concept reports , ad-hoc data analysis, and system integration assessments.
  • Produce and maintain process documentation , and provide training to team members on reporting systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing new tools and processes.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Power BI , Power Query , SQL , and data modeling .
  • Familiarity with project planning systems and experience in financial reporting .
  • Expertise in EVM , NVP , and project systems analysis.


Personal Attributes:

  • A proactive approach with a strong drive for continuous improvement .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and engage effectively with stakeholders.

Role Breakdown:

  • 70% Technical (data analysis, project reporting)
  • 30% Business Analyst soft skills (stakeholder engagement, presentations)
