Training Coordinator

We are looking for a Training Coordinator to be part of our After Sales team, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive training program for commercial vehicles, including classroom instruction, hands-on exercises, and behind-the-wheel training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructors to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain training records and documentation, including course materials, attendance logs, and driver certifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, including booking facilities, instructors, and equipment.
  • Evaluate engineers’ performance through assessments and skills tests.
  • Manage the budget allocated for commercial vehicle training (if applicable)
  • Identify and research new training methods and technologies to improve program effectiveness.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for all trainees.

Required skills, qualifications and experience :

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a training and development role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Experience with commercial vehicle training programs and regulations - a strong plus.
  • Excellent understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Has right-to-work in the UK.
