As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's infrastructure, ensuring all facilities are in optimal condition. You will coordinate with other departments, and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure a superior guest experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and extend the life of equipment.
  • Manage and lead the maintenance team, providing training and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures effectively.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a high-end hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. We use contractors for the majority of our work so practical knowledge not essential.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
