We are keen to hear from candidates with proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Manager role within a manufacturing environment (preferably multi-site) and expertise in Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
Continuous Improvement Manager – the role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Transformation, your role as Continuous Improvement Manager UK will be to help identify, develop, implement and imbed numerous business improvement initiatives on a varying scale of size and scope across the UK. Working with the central and local teams you will be key in delivering the change management whilst minimizing impact to the day-to-day business operations through effective relationships and planning.
Identify and deliver improvement activity across the business through process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking.
Work with and influence key business stakeholders.
Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity and waste within business processes.
Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system to track benefits.
The development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class continuous improvement strategy facilitating the Zero Defects & Operational Excellence programs.
Taking ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
Working with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems.
Deliver Lean Improvement based workshops and kaizen events.
Candidate requirements:
Previous experience in a similar Continuous Improvement Manager / CI Manager role from within a manufacturing / industrial environment
Expertise in Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping
Willing to travel frequently across the UK
