My client is a luxury hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff looking for an extremely customer focused Receptionist, the location is a fantastic, relaxing Spa and award winning Restaurant.
The Job…
Working as part of the Front Office Team as a Receptionist, you will assist in the general running of the Front desk by implementing all the standards in the Hotel. Being able to rotate your time between Reception, Customer queries, handling complaints & problem solving, liaising with Heads of Departments to ensure correct information is related as per clients’ requests.
Duties…
• Assist with the management of Reception duties,
• Check ins, departures & shift reconciliations
• Ensure that all guests are being acknowledged and approached to the 4 star standard of service.
• Champion customer service throughout the departments,
• Assist in resolving all guest complaints in a professional manner, ensuring all queries are passed through to the General Manager in a swift and professional manner.
• To be fully knowledgeable and conversant with Front Office systems, such as Fidelio & Opera, and the hotels internal booking systems.
The Person Specification….
The ideal Receptionist would come from a strong Hotel / Hospitality background, essential quality Customer Service experience. The ability to multi task, and have a high time management skill and outstanding communications skills is no:1 on my clients specifications.
