Intelligence Analyst

The Fraud Intelligence analyst will identify appropriate and relevant intelligence that will assist in the decision making process required for the resolution of a case. Developing hypotheses as to the mechanics of a suspected fraud claim. Evidence the intelligence where required in report / statement / pictorial format. As well as providing intelligence for internal and external customers as required.

Key AccountabilitiesnAnalysing claims files and provide reports and information to Clients and File Handlers as to the outcome of the analysis.nUsing desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and locate relevant information that will validate or rule out concerns and / or detect potentially fraudulent information.nCompiling reports/profiles on individuals and groups involved in suspected fraudulent activity.nPreparing witness evidence (including statements) in order to adduce the results of analysis in Court proceedings (generally civil proceedings) where necessarynUtilising IT software applications at an advanced level in order to produce proactive intelligence reports (e.g. iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel)nDelivering structured and detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on all key facts relating to specific investigations as requirednPreparing reports detailing Intelligence led fraud risk assessments in relation to Insurance Fraud and fraud ring investigationsnProducing reports/briefings in accordance with the Intelligence Cycle and utilising the NIM (National Intelligence Model)nMentoring Trainee analysts on an informal basisnAchieving chargeable target of 6.1 hours per day (subject to change)nCompliance with service level agreements as required on a client specific basis and in accordance with internal benchmarksnTime recording in accordance with Keoghs policy

Working Hoursn35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Parklands, Bolton Office 1 day a week and 4 days from home

Recruitment Criteria:nUnderstanding of legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed.nDrafting comprehensive and professional reports summarising key issues.nBasic level of commercial awareness.nCommunication skills - verbal and written.nGood telephone manner.nConfidence and ability to liaise with clients/customers when presenting a reasoned, logical argument.nWorking to tight deadlines and under pressure.nCan work under own initiative and innovative in their thinking
