Keoghs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fraud Claims Investigator to join our busy Intelligence Team. As an entry-level role, this position offers excellent opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to support our findings.
- Collaborate with external organizations, such as insurers, to obtain information and intelligence on potential fraudulent claims.
- Assist Intelligence Analysts with progressing investigations and intelligence searches, answering phone calls, and preparing outgoing correspondence.
- Respond to incoming requests for information from external organizations, supporting the prevention and detection of fraud within the industry.
- Identify key information from new files and manually enter data onto internal databases.
- Make informed decisions on which enquiries to pursue and liaise with Intelligence Analysts and internal file handlers accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with insurers to obtain information relating to previous claims.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal policies and procedures.
- Meet chargeable time recording targets, with targets increasing during the probation period based on progression and competency.
- Pass in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Commitment to learning and understanding processes, with a focus on building experience within the role.
