The Business Analyst (eCommerce) will focus on identifying business needs within the eCommerce area of the business, leading process reviews, defining system enhancements and change requirements, and supporting the delivery of business initiatives that impact and depend on the eCommerce technical architecture, processes and teams. This role involves working on multiple projects across the business and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that remain fit for purpose.

You'll be;

  • Ensuring all new initiatives are understood and the wider cross functional impact is known to the business via robust change assessment and prioritisation.
  • Working with departmental stakeholders to define and manage change, including operational, commercial and financial benefits and opportunities.
  • Our product and process owner for own directorate
  • Preparing and leading requirements workshops with all stakeholder groups identified for the initiative 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Digital Transformation, and cross functional BA & project SMEs on departmental and business priorities

You'll have;

  • Sound understanding of eCommerce operations, processes and architectures
  • Experience of defining requirements within a top tier eCommerce architecture
  • Confidence when working in an agile or waterfall environment and able to articulate the pros and cons of each
  • Strong process mapping skills, with the ability to also upskill the wider BA team
  • Awareness and adoption of Agile development methods an advantage
  • Ability to map business processes into process flow diagrams
  • Ability to manipulate data in Excel, using intermediate formulae skills
  • Practical experience of PowerBI, SQL query building an advantage
  • Ability to work to fixed deadlines and SLAs
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure from time to time
  • Continuous improvement attitude
