The Council Property assets include circa 4,500 residential properties and 300, retail, industrial and operational properties. Notable in the portfolio is the recent development in Beeston Town Centre including a cinema, restaurant and business premises.
Description
Lead and manage the Asset Management & Development division.
Reporting directly into the Deputy Chief Executive.
Responsibility of circa 4,500 residential properties and 300 commercial units.
Maintenance & construction.
Health & Safety and CDM.
Compliance management including fire safety, asbestos, legionella and M&E.
Retrofit decarbonisation projects.
Acquisitions of new properties.
Financial management.
Represent the department at senior management meetings and public engagements.Profile
A successful Head of Asset Management & Development should have:
Relevant construction qualifications.
Proven track record operating in the social housing sector.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, property management and development strategies.
Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.Job Offer
A yearly salary range of £62,507 to £67,507
