Job Description
A reputable and award-winning housing developer is seeking a freelance Assistant Site Manager to oversee a traditional new build housing project in Dorset. In this role, you will work closely with the Site Manager and a supportive team to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Job Duties:
Assist the Site Manager in managing the build of traditional new build housing
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process
Monitor progress and report to the Site Manager
Required Qualifications:
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
First Aid Certification
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Prior experience in site management within the house building sector
Strong knowledge of traditional new build housing processes
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
