The Role & Operation:
Stunning high quality holiday park group with a range of luxury lodges with 5-star facilities is looking for an experienced Group Sales Manager with a proven track record of holiday home sales and the ability to support the sales team to get deals over the line.
Set in a beautiful countryside locations with easy access to the stunning areas of natural beauty, the parks have busy restaurants selling fresh locally sourced produce & busy bar operations, some spa facilities, children's play areas and with miles of stunning countryside with easy access to well-known country walks, popular tourist attractions, areas of natural beauty, rivers and caves. The parks have a good mix of high-quality luxury holiday homes and lodges plus a growing number of high value privately-owned luxury lodges with jacuzzi hot tubs.
As the parks are both a holiday parks alongside holiday home ownership there will be regular repeat business and so the highest standards of guest service are paramount.
The park is owned by a highly successful well-respected company with a stunning portfolio of holiday and lodge parks, each set in stunning locations with a focus on quality and an amazing 5 star guest experience.
The Role:
The Head of Sales will be a passionate , driven individual who is consistently focused on forging strong relationships and ensuring your team display the same passion and drive, striving to exceed expectations, providing the best service and ensuring that the team displays the same passion and drive on a daily basis, striving to exceed expectations and consistently deliver the highest standards.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who is results-driven and who has a proven track record & the ability to drive lodge ownership sales. The successful candidate will be a driven sales leader who is driven by results and has the ability to leader high-performing sales teams, inspiring them to achieve & exceed their targets.
This is an important role within the business & the successful candidate will be an integral part of shaping the sales operation to achieve increased growth and direction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Driving continued growth & success by leading and inspiring a high-performing sales team to achieve their targets whilst maintaining the integrity and value of the company.
* Motivating, growing & leading a successful, consistently performing sales team to achieve & exceed their targets.
* Developing and delivering ongoing sales training and coaching to ensure best performance & product knowledge.
* Developing strong relationships with potential lodge buyers and current owners to drive referrals and repeat business.
* Taking part in lodge sales – this is still a selling role and potential candidates actively participate in lodge sales, driving lead generation whilst supporting the team to get deals over the line through effective sales presentations and building relationships.
* Identifying opportunities and optimise sales by regularly conducting market research & competitor analysis
* Developing a sales strategy consistent with the company’s business objectives.
* Managing sales budgets, tracking performance against KPIs & reporting to the Board.
* Ensuring that all sales processes, policies and compliance regulations are followed
* Working closely with the marketing, operations & finance to maximise revenue and ensure the customer has a fantastic journey
Requirements:
* Proven track record of working in a Group Sales Manager/Head of Sales role within a similar lodge or high quality static holiday home company.
* The ability to work in a demanding sales environment.
* The ability to manage sales, motivate and develop a successful sales team.
* Strong relationship-building & communication skills.
* Strong commercial acumen & financial skills.
* The ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, partners, internal teams, managers and directors within the company.
* Great communication skills with the ability to build rapport & trust.
* In depth knowledge of the luxury lodge ownership market (ideally £150k + )
* Strong understanding of negotiating getting finance on lodges working with finance providers and supporting the sales team to get deals over the line.
* A friendly approachable personality and a can-do attitude.
* Self-motivated & committed to achieving all targets.
* Experience of marketing and the ability to use park technology and systems with a good understanding of Microsoft - Excel etc.
* Well-presented with 5-star standards.
* Flexible – with the ability to work the occasional weekend if the business requires it.
* The ideal candidate will live in Yorkshire, the North West or North East.
Salary & Benefits:
The starting salary for the role is a basic of around 65k plus an open-ended bonus of around 15k per quarter and various benefits including pension & 31 days holiday entitlement.
