Senior Quantity Surveyor – Highways – Brentwood – c£70k + Package
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading blue chip contractor who have been established for over 200 years
They are currently on site on a £130m Highways scheme which consists of new access roads and structures with associated drainage, junction improvements and signage.
Due to an increase in workload on site, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of a proportion of the subcontracts and manage these effectively day to day. This includes managing valuations, variations, providing cost reports, making timely payments and working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor to provide accurate cost to complete and forecast figures. This is being constructed under an NEC4 contract and experience of the NEC form of contrac is essential.
The role will be fully site based to begin with although once familiar with all processes and procedures within the business, this can be altered to a more hybrid working format.
The company offer a fantastic package including very generous basic salary, car/allowance, 27 days holiday + stats and much more.
