Their commitment to safety is paramount, and we're seeking a Building Fire Safety Manager on behalf of our client to ensure compliance and occupant well-being within the development.


As the Building Fire Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all occupants and visitors to the site. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating Building Assessment Certificate submissions, ensuring building registrations, and overseeing compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will develop and implement robust safety protocols and procedures, maintaining documentation required for submission to regulatory bodies. You will engage directly with stakeholders, including clients, leaseholders, and residents, addressing concerns and maintaining positive relationships. As the role matures, you may have the opportunity to support broader risk functions covered by the H&S team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Building Assessment Certificate submissions.
  • Ensure building registrations and compliance.
  • Develop safety protocols and maintain documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders and address concerns.
  • Monitor legislative updates and liaise with regulators.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee risk assessments.


Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven fire safety management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • NEBOSH
