Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our R&D Tax team as a financial specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of identifying, qualifying, and maximising R&D tax incentives for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our clients, technical experts, and finance professionals to ensure accurate and timely claims that comply with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical experts, accountants, and finance professionals to gather necessary information and documentation for claim preparation.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to ensure accurate identification and calculation of eligible R&D tax credits.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant tax legislation and regulations, keeping abreast of any changes that may impact the R&D tax credits landscape.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in R&D tax credits, tax consulting, or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully managing and maximising R&D tax credits.
  • Strong knowledge of tax legislation and regulations related to R&D tax credits, including familiarity with relevant government programs and incentives.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret technical and financial data to identify eligible R&D activities and expenditures.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
